Natal Umara is an area in the North of Sumatra where Kudengo Sugata Farm is located at an altitude of more than 1350 meters above sea level. The production of the well-known Mandailing variety per year does not exceed 100 tons.
Bright acidity and high-quality, easy-to-read descriptors, as well as an unusual processing of gilling basses make this lot indispensable for light roasting. This variety has a complex bouquet, a full and balanced body, a pleasant sweetish taste, in which notes of walnut, peach and almond are felt. Acidity varies depending on the part of the island it comes from, sometimes it can manifest itself with notes of tropical fruit, grapefruit or lime.
